Upcoming Event
On September 30, 2006 a Karate tournament sponsored by the Syracuse Police Department will be held at Henniger High School. There will be 3 events that SASD students can compete. They are Kata ( forms), Kobudo (weapons forms), & Kimuite (sparring).All SASD students are encouraged to take part in this tounament. I usually do not stress tournament participation, but in this case all the proceeds go to the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program. It costs only $25.00 for pre-registration ( $35.00 after Aug.25) and the monies go to a very worthy cause for children.
